    Benom Plumb is originally from the small East Texas town of Marshall, TX, Benom Plumb has been involved in the music industry for over 12 years. He received his undergraduate music degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and his graduate degree in music industry studies from the University of Miami. Benom was VP of Licensing at Bluewater Music from 2007 – 2012 in Nashville, TN. During his time at Bluewater Music, he coordinated all TV/Film licensing efforts, signing new talent, pitching songs, finding publishing money, negotiating various business deals and representing the company throughout the world at industry events.

    He now resides in Denver, CO with is wife Cindy and two year old son, Liam, teaching music industry courses in the Music and Entertainment Industry Studies Department at The University of Colorado Denver. His primary courses are Intro to Music Business, Music Publishing and Music Business Analysis. He is also the owner of his own consultancy business, Professor Plumb Music, serving music industry clients great and small throughout the country.
